When a link gives you nothing

Two things cause this.

You already claimed that gift, or it has expired. Each link works once per account. If you tapped it on another site first, it is already used.

Tapping it again will not help. Use a newer link instead.

There is also a limit on how fast you can collect. Claim more than 12 chip offers within 3 hours and the game stops giving you more. Wait 3 hours and it works again.
