Where to type a code

The code box is not in Settings. That is where most people look.

Open DoubleDown Casino. Click Buy Chips at the top right. The promo code box is inside that panel.

Paste the code in and click Apply. The chips go straight into your balance.

There is no code box in the mobile app. On a phone or tablet you have to use the link instead, from the DoubleDown free chips feed. We list both so you are covered either way.

A code and a link are the same gift

The chips on the free chips page and the code here are usually the same gift.

So claiming both does not get you twice the chips. Each gift pays once per account.

The code is useful when you found the gift on your phone but play on a computer. The code travels between devices. The link often does not.

How many chips a code pays

Most codes are worth 250,000 to 500,000 chips. Some special ones pay more.

They come out 3 to 5 times a day, alongside the matching links.

New accounts also start with 1 million chips.

Codes and links are the same giveaway, so the totals on the free chips page apply here too. At White Diamond level you can collect over 2 million free chips a day once the in-game bonuses are counted.

Buying the same chips costs $1.99 to $99.99 a pack.

Why a code says invalid

There are three reasons, and a fake code is not one of them.

The first is age. Codes last 1 to 3 days, and a Flash Giveaway code can expire in 5 hours.

The second is typing. Codes are case sensitive, and a space at the end is enough to fail. Use the copy button instead of typing it out.

The third is that you already used it. If the game says you have already received the chips for that promotion, the code worked, just earlier.

If you cannot enter any codes

Claim more than 12 chip offers within 3 hours and the game stops accepting more. Wait 3 hours and it works again.

Check which account you are signed into as well. A guest account and a Facebook account are two separate balances in DoubleDown, and a code applies to whichever one you used it on.

On Android, if Facebook login keeps failing, clear the app data for DoubleDown Casino, Chrome and Android System WebView. That is the fix DoubleDown support gives.

Why our codes have dates

DoubleDown puts out several codes a day and each one dies within a day or two.

An undated code list is useless. Leave one in search results for two weeks and every code on it is dead.

Every code here shows the date we logged it. When a code stops working it moves to the expired list below, so you can check whether a code you found elsewhere is worth typing in.

Where real codes come from

DoubleDown releases codes on its own Facebook, Instagram and TikTok pages, and by email. Those are the only real sources.

No tool can make a working code. The chips sit on DoubleU Games' servers, and only the game can add to your balance.
