• Event free tiers: Seasonal events such as Winterfest, the Summer Festival and the anniversary almost always have a free track with emeralds and hero stones.

Energy deserves a special mention because it is the thing that limits your day. It regenerates at one point every six minutes, up to a cap commonly cited at 240. If you only open the game once a day you are hitting that cap and losing regeneration. Logging in twice, morning and evening, is worth more than any single gift link on this page.

If a link does nothing, it has expired or has already been claimed on your account. Links in this game do not last long.

Yes, and faster than in most games. Codes tied to a livestream or a limited event can be valid for as little as 24 hours. Others run for a few weeks. Some carry a stated deadline, and some do not.

The practical rule is to assume any code you find posted publicly is dead unless it carries a deadline that has not passed yet. Long lists of Hero Wars codes on aggregator sites are mostly expired, and trying them costs you nothing but time.

If the code is valid and accepted but you cannot see the reward, check your in-game mail. Hero Wars delivers code rewards to the mailbox rather than crediting them directly, which trips up a lot of players.
