Feed the Lucky Pet, because it multiplies everything else
This is the most under-used mechanic in the game. The Lucky Pet is fed with Treats you collect while spinning, and feeding it activates perks: multipliers on the hourly bonus, boosts to your Weekly Race score, and a chance to turn a losing spin into a winning one. Pets level up over time and the perks get stronger, with the hourly multiplier reaching several times its base value at high perk levels. Because it scales a bonus you were collecting anyway, an hour spent building the pet is worth more than an hour spinning. Feed it every session.
Spin the hourly bonus wheel every time you open the app
The hourly wheel is the most consistent free Coin source in the game, available once an hour around the clock, with payouts scaling by your level and by whatever multipliers you have active. It does not accumulate while you are away, so two or three visits across a day gather far more than a single long session. Take the pet perks into account when you time it: collecting the wheel while a multiplier perk is running is the difference between a routine top-up and a serious one.
Work the free track of the Rich Pass
The Rich Pass is a challenge track in the shape of a battle pass, with daily tasks such as winning a set number of bonus games or hitting a spin count. It runs in two tracks, a free one and a paid Gold one, and the free track alone pays Coins, perks and chests for tasks you would largely complete during normal play. The practical habit is to read the day's challenges before you choose a machine, since several of them steer you toward particular features and doing them in the wrong order costs you spins.
Place in the Weekly Race and join a Bingo Club team
The Weekly Race puts you in a bracket of around a hundred players and scores you on wins, big wins, bonus games and topper payouts, with the top finishers moving into higher divisions where the prizes are larger. Bingo Club is the team version: your team completes challenges to capture tiles and lines for a shared pool. Both reward the same play you were already doing, and Bingo Club in particular rewards showing up rather than spending, since a team carries members who contribute steadily. Send and take friend gifts
Connecting Facebook opens Coin and spin gifting between friends who play. It is free to send, free to receive, and repeats daily, which makes an active friends list a small standing income. It is also the source that most players let go stale: a list built years ago and never refreshed sends nothing. Sending first is what keeps the exchange going.
Claim the links, and tap the Collect pop-up
Zynga posts one-tap Coin links on the official Hit It Rich channels, at least daily and more often around weekends and events, with values ranging from around a million into the tens of millions on the biggest promotions. Most expire within 24 to 72 hours and the largest tend to go fastest, so freshness matters more than size. The single most common reason a claim seems to fail is procedural rather than technical: the link opens the game and a confirmation window appears, and the Coins are not credited until you tap Collect on that pop-up. Close the app before tapping it and you get nothing.
If a link does not credit
Three things account for nearly every failed claim, and none of them mean the link was fake.
- The pop-up was not tapped: The Collect window is the actual claim. If you dismissed it or switched apps, the Coins did not land.
- Already claimed: Each link works once per Zynga account. If the game opens with no pop-up at all, you have had this one.
- Wrong account or device: The link credits whichever account is signed in, so check you are on the profile you play, on the device where the game is installed.
