The neighbour maths is worth doing properly. Ten active neighbours is fifty free digs a day; thirty is a hundred and fifty. No link on this page comes close to that, and unlike a link it renews every single day.

Klondike: The Lost Expedition, the browser and Facebook version, has no documented promo code system at all. It uses freebies instead: direct links that credit when clicked. If you play in a browser and cannot find a code entry screen, it is because there isn't one.

So a code you find posted for Klondike Adventures will do nothing for a browser account, and vice versa. Check which version a code was issued for before assuming it is broken.

The fallback most people miss

On mobile, if a promo link does not work, Vizor posts a second link beneath it. Opening that one gives you a menu where you type your player ID to receive the same gifts. Most players give up at the first dead link without scrolling far enough to see it.

Vizor stated at the time that there were no plans to discontinue the game on Facebook, the Vizor Portal or Plarium, and it remains available on all three plus iOS and Android.
