The codes are on the forum, not Facebook

This trips up almost everyone who plays Diggy's Adventure.

The Facebook page carries Pixel Shop links. Those are tapped, not typed, and they apply Gems to your account without any code at all.

The gift codes are a separate thing, posted in a thread on forum.pixelfederation.com and refreshed about once a week.

So a player watching only Facebook has been missing the codes for years, and a player watching only the forum has been missing the Pixel Shop offers. They are two different giveaways from the same studio.

A code and a Pixel Shop link are not the same gift

Claim both. They are separate rewards, unlike the games that attach a code to every link.

The Pixel Shop offers collect in the Diggy's Adventure rare Gems feed and arrive several times a week.

The forum codes arrive weekly and are typed into the game.

Together they are the two largest free Gem sources Pixel Federation runs, and neither one requires spending anything.

What a code is worth

Pixel Federation does not publish a figure, and it changes with the promotion.

Gems are the premium currency in Diggy's Adventure, which is what makes a code worth chasing. Energy and Coins come easily from playing. Gems do not.

Buying Gems instead costs $0.99 to $99.99 a pack.

New players get a starter Gem pack on first install, and after that the free Gems come from codes, Pixel Shop offers, quest completion and the seasonal dungeons.

Why a code fails

Each gift code works once per account. A code you redeemed months ago will not pay again, and neither will one a friend already used on your account.

The weekly codes also close when the next one is posted, so an old thread is worth checking against the date on this page before you type anything in.

If the Gems do not show after a code is accepted, wait 2 to 3 minutes and restart the app. The credit lands once the game reconnects.

Log in before you tap a Pixel Shop link

A Pixel Shop link only works on a device where you are already signed in to your Pixel Federation account.

Tap one while logged out and the shop opens with no offer showing, which looks exactly like an expired link.

So if a run of offers seems dead, check you are signed in before assuming they all expired. There is no code entry involved in these, the Gems apply on their own.

Energy is the real bottleneck

Gems are the currency people chase, but Energy is what stops you digging.

Cook meals in your Camp Kitchen during a session and it generates bonus Energy while you play.

Windmills produce Energy passively, so building them early pays back over months rather than hours.

Visiting neighbours returns extra Energy and gifts, and it costs them nothing. A player using all three rarely needs to spend Gems on Energy at all, which makes the codes go further.

Events are when codes get better

Pixel Federation runs limited-time dungeons and holiday events, and that is when the larger Gem rewards appear.

The weekly forum code tends to line up with those, so a quiet code week often means an event is close.

Diggy's Adventure has run since 2012 and its event calendar is long-established, which is why the cadence is steadier here than in most of the games we cover.

Gem generators have nothing to generate

Pixel Federation issues every genuine Diggy's Adventure code, and the game checks each one against its own list.

Sites offering unlimited Energy hacks, Gem generators or modded APKs are not connected to Pixel Federation, and a modded build can lose your farm progress outright.
